Hello all,

After retiring from the military I decided I didn't want to sleep on the ground any more during extended family camping trips. While doing careful research of all the available Class C models for 2010-2016, we happened across a tiny 2008 160x FF at the back of one of the lots we were visiting. My wife fell in love and my 3 kids thought it was the cutest thing ever. We bought it that day for well under NADA. Almost a year later we have had a few issues spring up but we've loved spending our time together! I thought we would need a 30' trailer to fit all of us but I'm amazed at what we can fit in a 16' rig along with 2 adults, 2 teenagers, 1 growing child, 2 dogs and an occasional guest. I'm still learning, and that's why I'm here.

Welcome to the forum. I'm impressed that you can get that many in your trailer. We've had 3 adults and 2 small children in ours and it was hard to move around.

Welcome to the forum.

Somewhat like you, after years of traveling via Motorcycle and tenting it, these old bones needed some creature comforts.

Our choice was the XT 276, a 30 foot unit. We looked at a 21' footer but the wife is claustrophobic so that was totally out.

Very pleased with our selection.

Happy camping.
