[Super Fun Box]

My husband and I just picked up our first trailer...which we have named the Super Fun Box unfortunately Harvey has dampened (soaked!!) our excitement at the moment. We hope to get out there camping as soon as the floodwaters recede. The FunFinder is so much nicer than my backpacking tent

This storm is devastating. We have been very lucky so far, but please keep the people of Houston, others impacted along the Gulf Coast, and the folks of Louisiana in your thoughts and prayers.

P.s. The Super Fun Box has temporarily become The Outhouse as our septic doesn't work when it floods! :shock:

Another "howdy" FM a fellow Texan in Groesbeck. While in the USCG stationed in Galveston, n other Gulf Coast ports I rode out 3 hurricanes doing SAR (search n rescue) and this one tops them all. Our Grandson lives just off the beltway and so far so good but water is still rising in some areas.

Hello from Florida !! Irma has done a lot of destruction thru our state. I was fortunate, our little 2012 19 foot Fun Finder held up in the storm....the location she was in was high but the winds were strong.
I'm sorry for all you going thru as we think of Texas everyday.
Please keep us posted when you take your first trip.
