Off to Lake Tahoe monday morning

Wife and I are off to Lake Tahoe early monday morning. Have reservations at a RV park, probably going to stay for a week. Will have plenty of pics to post when we get back.

Back from Tahoe

Back from the tahoe trip. We had a great time and great weather. Lots of people in Tahoe, bit of a zoo. None the less we still had a lot of fun... Some pics of the trip.. Look close at some of the pics and you will see a black bear, spotted him coming back from Fallen Leaf Lake near tahoe.

Nice pics.

As for the note " Lots of people in Tahoe, bit of a zoo." that seems to be more and more common.

Folks go camping to "get away" only to find the campgrounds as crowed as where they left to get away from....and sometimes booked full so can't even get a spot.

It is often difficult to get into the more popular spots here as well Eagle... (You live close, so you know what the North Shore looks like over the 4th of July .. We have started looking for the out of the way spots and those limiting the trailer size... We also go during the week to get away from much of the crowds, but when skipping the weekends, the kids and grandkids are left out...
