We have a 2009 21 foot fun finder. There is a hose and attachment for an outside shower but we cannot figure out how to get it to work. Is there a lever somewhere to direct the inside water to the outside. Couldn't find anything in the manual. Thanks

My 276 has the outside shower and I wish I could figure out how to get to the plumbing to disconnect it as never used and just another pain to winterize and then flush in the spring.

Yes we have the taps and the hose but not sure how to get water to come out.

To be honest after we purchased our FF in January we realized the outdoor shower didn't have a hose. We found one and purchased it. But we have never even turned on the faucets in it. My husband is going out to do it now. Will report back if there is a problem. Hopefully not.

Ok. We get nothing as well. On the phone waiting to talk to service dept at dealer. Strange. No shut offs anywhere. Plumbed right into water line for sink faucet.

Thanks for your reply. Glad we're not the only ones who "don't know what we are doing" Let me know if you figure ir out. Thank you

The dealer was no help. It's a mystery. The only possibility is that BOTH the hot and cold valves are plugged somehow. The hoses connect directly to the main water line. No shutoff valve anywhere. The spray away was an option on our model according to the literature on the models we got when we bought it.
Oh, we tried pushing in the quick disconnect coupling and didn't get sprayed in the face. So that isn't the problem.

Wow. Well, thanks for all your help. If by any chance we figure it out, I'll let you know!

Hi guys...
Just a really stupid question (Please don't take this wrong... but I have to ask) Did you make sure the water pump is on or you are hooked up to the city water connection?

Yes we did John. Not a stupid question really. We also made sure we had water in the fresh water tank to pump. It's strange we both are having the same issue. And we would not have even thought about it if he hadn't posted this thread. We ordered that hose in the winter and never checked it out till now.

You probably already know, the Quick Disconnect (QD) for the outside shower is a PITA to connect... It must go all the way in. However, you said you checked the lines by releasing the check valves...

In my trailer, the water lines run from the pump/street input to the bath and then up a little ways to the outside shower Hot & Cold faucets (all on the street side). I hook up the outside QD and spray hose, turn on the faucets, squeeze the spray nozzle, and get wet... :):)

I don't remember seeing any valves, other than the outside valves, in that system... I wish I could offer more info, but am at a loss here...

I rarely use the outside shower, but used it in AZ this spring to wash the ATV before we loaded it (It was so dusty... just stacked up on the filthy beast)...

Good luck with the shower... :)

This is what my outside shower looks like. It's located on the passenger side or curb side of the XT 276 opposite the bathroom sink on the inside.

This is what they look like when the QD hose type is NOT on the camper.

Maybe

I know that on my 210UDS, the outside shower hose is pretty long and gets pushed through the hole in the shower box. I pulled the hose out, guess ir was kinked and pulling it kind of "set" the knot.
On mine, I had to remove the panel under the refrigerator to get to the hose and unknot it. That's one possibility.

Another: It's not connected? Maybe the seller (dealer or individual) never hooked the water supply lines. Didn't want to winterize maybe?

John, Eagle and Runner. Thanks for the replies. I have uploaded photos that show our outdoor shower and it's plumbing. Hard to see how both could be clogged. I wonder if it's the correct quick disconnect fitting in the center or if a previous owner replaced the pen one for something else. We bought the factory coiled blue hose sine none came with the trailer.

Update!!! He took the quick disconnect off and then put it back in and now the shower works. Not sure why. Also found the chrome one that came with the hose. I didn't know he had it. He wants to stick with the brass one that was on the trailer.

It's weird isn't it. It seems that as soon as I post a problem on here it decides to fix itself. All he did was unscrew the quick connect and then screw it back in. Go figure. Lol! It might have not been seated properly in the first place, as you said.

Great post. I just bought a used 2005 Sport Cruiser 189 and the owner said he broke the outdoor shower. It will be amongst the most useful things as I have a dog that LOVES mud! Just a thought, any of you thought of putting a shutoff valve in for it inside the trailer? I may try to do that when installing (or fixing) the old exterior shower. At least now I know where to start looking for the lines. :)
