Just started getting my new 266KIRB ready for our first outing. Tried to light the pilot light to the HW heater. Pilot stays on for 2 minutes then shuts off. Have a heck of a time trying to get it started again. I'm assuming I have a faulty themo couple. I may be doing something wrong since I'm a newbie but it seems pretty straight forward. Any thoughts?

My 2002 T160 wouldn't even light. Took apart the pilot assembly and the pilot "end" was all rusted. The whole assembly was $22.00 on Amazon. It sounds like your thermocoupler is bad. Seems odd that a 2015 is already having problems but things go bad. Do you have to go outside to light it or do you light it from inside?

Thanks PieGuy. I found out what the problem was. Since I'm new at this I did a little investigation and found out that the valve under the bathroom sink was shut off so the HW heater tank was not getting water to it. The pilot automatically shut off. Been nice to know that sooner.

Thnanks
