PIN-UP Lamps

Hi There.. We are having so much fun with our NTU..189 X FBS Now my question is Have any of you put up shelving, pictures or screwed into the walls? I ordered some really nice pin-up lamps to put on the wall at either end of couch.. There are no lights in there and I dislike over head lighting.. We started to put them up and got a little nervous about the thickness of the walls.. Don't want holes in the fiberglass siding!
Maybe VELCRO?

I got one of these for the camper: it's battery operated and mounted with double-sided velcro. It turns off in 4 hours automatically. I think they have other styles, but this one seemed the brighest. I don't have to worry about draining my 12 volt battery.

Hi... I wish I had seen these before I ordered what I have.. They are really different. Hubs would like those. I think I have decided to not take a chance on screws and put them up with Industrial Strength Velcro.. 2X4 in strips.. 2 on each lamp.

Instead of velcro you might try some of the 3M Command strips. They come in a variety of sizes and if you decide to move it later they come off easily. I've used these with good success to mount several hooks and some of the command brand bins, but they would work just as well on other items.

Thanks for that tip I hadn't thought of those..Might be better.. because I don't know if that strength of velcro will come off without damage to the wall.

The adhesive strips and Velcro will damage the wall if ever removed. As long as you plan on keeping something mounted to the strips, you will be fine.
