Question on LED replacement bulbs ?

The main thing is to know what kind of bulb you are replacing. Many rv's use different types of bulbs in different parts of the RV. You of course need the correct socket type. I like Amazon Prime because other buyers give tips in their reviews and caution you about things you might not have thought of. Also you want to pick the right "color" of bulb. Some like a bright white light, some like a warmer light. But of course I'm no expert on anything! You probably know all of this. Oh, sometimes you get what you pay for as well.

It's all about Lumens?

So - those LED replacements would work (fit) in the standard dual-bulb ceiling mounted fixtures in most campers.
What I noticed is that they are rated at 156 lumens each, so each fixture would be about 312 lumens. For comparison a standard 60-watt LED bulb (120-volt in your house) would be about 800 lumens.
The next thing is "whiteness" so they look to be rated at 6000K which is WHITE. Think that a "normal" bulb is around 3200-3500K (kind of yellowish).
I can't find the rated lumens of this LED, but you might like them (12 LEDs about 3500K) and contact the seller:

These are 24 LEDs and very WHITE at 6000K: 20x White Car RV Landscaping T10 194 921 168 Bulb Lamp 24 SMD Interior LED Light | eBay

Thanks for the responses. I looked at led replacements before but thought they were pretty spendy, about $8-$10 per bulb....so wondered about these.

Don't know if it would be worth changing mine out as only camped a few times w/o electrical hookup plus have a pair of Honda 2000i generators.

Update:

I did a little searching on the net and found this:

plus there are several continuing parts that show on the right margin.

I'm not sure if it would make much difference to you since you don't boondock much and have the generators but I think that they can make a difference to someone who does boondock on batteries alone. Check this comparison out.

Yes, I doubt it would be cost effective for me since seldom boondock and when been where there are no hookups, have run my Honda 2000I & 2000Is companion together for plenty of power for A/C, TV, lights, etc.
Whenever there has been the possibility of spending a night w/no hookups, have always taken the generators & spare fuel with.

Thanks for the link as sure demonstrates the huge difference in power consumption.

I am just replacing bulbs with LED as they burn out...Hopefully over time, their price will continue to come down.

I bought a whole bunch of similar bulbs from ebay quite a few years ago and they had the wire connection part on both side, on both side (left/right, top/bottom), like this photo (4 contact points)

Do you think the ones shown in the previous post would work - they only have one contact point on each side ((2 contact points total)?

Yes, the 2 contact point LEDs work just fine. Installed quite a few of them yesterday in my 2010 X189 FBS
