Well I've got another problem with my Viewfinder. When I am prepping to camp I plug my electric at house and start the refrig to keep food in while on the road. On this trip I noticed that the refrig did not switch over to gas while I was on the road. After I got back home I tried to run the refrig on gas but nothing happened. I checked the outside parts and there is no flame at all with both gas and refrig on, I had someone go inside and turn it on when I stayed out and watched and listened and nothing. Not a click I would expect for the igniter, and no flame at the burner.

I am still a rookie when it comes to camping and thank goodness for this site, just hope I don't wear out my welcome!

I don't know Jack, but maybe something here will "spark" an idea! :

Do you have a battery Disconnect switch? If yes, it might be disconnected.

Fuse may also be blown.

There may be a "Main" fuse at or near the tongue.

There should be a fuse in your converter box panel

Try running your lights while the trailer is unplugged to see if you have battery power that is needed to spark the refer.

See if the heater will come on to see if you have gas and spark at it.

Also, if the fan runs while the trailer is unplugged, you do have battery power.

Sounds silly but make sure your gas is on and that you do have gas in your bottle.

Turn on a gas burner at the stove to purge the air out of the lines faster.

This will help purge the air out for the refer too.

Hope this helps! :)

Run your stove before you test your fridge

I have found that if there is air in the gas line, the fridge sometimes won't fire up. Run the stove -- when it lights, you know there is no more air in the line.

Then run the fridge on gas.

If you can't get the fridge to run on gas at all, that could be a control board problem. Let's hope not -- that can be expensive.
