Reinstalling Fun Finder Window Valance

Hi All,

We have a 2012 FunfinderX 214WSD. The valance has fallen off. My wife and I have worked on this thing for more than 3 hours with no luck.

It seems simple enough, but the valance will not slide down over the bedroom window shade.

Any ideas?
