Schwintek Slide System

We just purchase our 214 model with the Schwintek system. Is the system as bad as I am hearing? It seems that most of the issues relate to the system used inappropriately for large slides or a failure to keep the motors in sync.

Would appreciate any helpful hints to avoid future issues.

I don't know the size of your slide out. I gave a 210 wbs withe the same slide system and never had an issue. I did have to replace the slide out floor. They use some sort of plastic paint that will Crack over time. It caused water to get in the wood and rot the floor. I replaced the 3/4" with marine grade plywood. I primed the wood then painted it with flex seal. That was 6 years ago and is still in great condition.
