Hi Everyone, I have a 2011 189FBS and one of the stabilizer motors is shot. It's a Schwintek #080120001. I can't find anything on the web to replace this motor. Has anyone had any luck? Thanks!

I used Google and it immediately referenced a Lippert Repair Part. Could this be it? See their photos, they would not copy.

When I googled the motor, I kept coming up with this motor also. However, my motor only has two wires that are hardwired, not the multi-wire plug. Also, the motor end also has a hex head to use with a drill to manually extend or retract the stabilizer. This motor doesn't have that which I will need.

Does anyone have something similar to this?

Does you Schwintek Power Stabilizer assembly look like a Lippert? If so you might luck out and the motors might interchange. I saw this one on Ebay.

So after much research I figured out what the Lippert motor model number is. If you have the Lippert individual stabilizer jacks, you need the Lippert Components part #240015 Motor (IG-42gm 12v). It's currently $111.81 on Amazon.

Mine went out also On my 189FDS while in a campground and I couldn’t find a way to retract it manually because the hex head under the cover was badly corroded so i ended up removing the whole thing.

I wasn’t able to find a replacement and changed them all out to manual cranks I operate with a cordless drill. I didn’t want a repeat of the experience. Also ended up being more affordable and reliable.

I figured out later that the wires were not sealed to the motor housing so water was entering it an corroded it out.

Lippert website lists that motor for slide outs, good for you for figuring out it’s compatibility!

My motorized stabilizer is a Black & Decker cordless drill with a crank bit. Works great on manual stabilizers, only cost $25 and at the end of the process I have a drill if needed.

I use a similar system only with an 18 volt Dewalt power unit.

When I special ordered my XT276 after some extensive searching on line, I opted NOT to get the electric stabilizers because so many people were having problems with them.

I believe it was a wise decision.

What about nut on the motor shaft?

One of my stabilizers with this same motor would not move today. They were all corroded, so I guess I need to use silicone to seal it up. In one of the original posts the point was made that this part doesn't have a hex head to manually move the stabilizer. What do you do about that? Mine was so corroded that the nut head fell off when I tried to rotate it.

When I replaced my motor, I found the small nut was just pressed on the original motor center shaft. I reused it on the new motor and epoxied it on. Definitely not a daily use option but may work in a bind.
