Sticky stereo

Hello,
We just bought a 2014 210UDS. The stereo is very sticky, and when you touch it, Black comes off on your hands. Anyone else seen this? I thought maybe they cleaned it with something that damaged the plastic. If so, is it possible to get a new faceplate? Thank you

Here is one radical solution -- the radio was so bad that we took it out completely! We use a small handheld portable instead, and converted the whole radio area for storage.

We may have to do that, but hubby sure would hate losing his built in speakers and DVD player! ��

Sticky radio

It’s the heat that gets to the plastic. Simple rubbing alcohol , a bunch of paper towels, and a LOT of elbow grease and it will come out like nee. I did mine about 2 months ago (2014 modle FF)
