T139 radio

Hello!
I’m hoping for help from this community regarding the radio and speakers in a 2005 t139 funfinder.

Under the cabinet on the right side of the trailer (above the fridge), there is radio bracket, wire harness and radio antenna. This harness seems to be hardwired in (not aftermarket installed). The fuse panel has a fuse labelled “radio and tv”. With this, I’ll assume it was a option selected back in 2005.


My question is a two parter:
1) what was the brand of radio from shadow cruiser?
2) where would the radio speakers be located or mounted? I cannot find any evidence of speakers in the trailer.


I have “pinned out” the harness and found a proper ground and 12v. The spreaker wires are all open circuits. I would like to find a stereo of the same brand but honestly I can install whatever (mechanic by trade). The speakers wire ends are the biggest concern at the moment. All my research on the internet has turn up nothing so far. Even interior photos and exterior photos never seem to show any more f this equipment.

Most likely the radio was a Jensen, that's a guess based on that pretty much being the only brand available in 2005. As for the speakers, what I've seen in photos of older models is that they were in surface mounted in enclosures underneath a cabinet, Kind of like these:

Gotcha.
Funny I don’t see any old screw holes for speakers but I’ll look again.
Thanks for the help. I’d be lucky to find a basic Jensen would still plug straight in.

My 2003 T-139 had a Jensen. We removed it and used the storage space for other things.

If we want music or news, we use our phones connected to a small portable bluetooth speaker.

I don’t know the differences between the “T” & “X” series of the Cruiser RV campers but for a given series, I’m guessing that the standard amenities are likely the same across the models in the series. I’m also guessing that the amenities could be the same over the span of a few years. That said, the ‘07 “X” series radio/CD & DVD player was the QX-3202 by Quest Engineering. Mine fits into the space between the above range microwave and the above sink cupboard. I do suppose that a radio/CD/DVD player might be considered “optional” in the “T” series but the “X” series had it as standard equipment. If no speakers are to be found anywhere in the camper, that might indicate optional rather than standard. RE: being “hardwired”, it’s likely less expensive for a manufacturer to use a wiring harness that can be used for all possible options in a given model rather than maintaining separate stocks of harnesses for campers with different options. Bottom line, if I was in the OP’s situation, I believe that ProfDan’s solution of a smartphone and a Bluetooth speaker might just be the route that I’d be taking.
