Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems - TPMS

Anyone have any experience with 4-tire pressure monitoring systems? Not necessarily brands, but type - inside sensor vs valve stem sensor? Solar powered vs 12v? Any trouble receiving data in cab from trailer tires? Prices are all over the place - $30 to $500. Yikes!

Reviews are all over the place too ~ from good to bad.

Haven't invested in one and don't plan to.

We have been using TireTraker, model TT-500, for the last few years. The sensors are on the valve stems of the tires. It monitors tire temp and pressure. Very happy with the system and the peace of mind. Their customer service is stellar.
