These posts include several shots of our Fun Finder in remote boondocking campsites on BLM land. The "forest" roads (really desert roads) were rough and rocky and rutted and sandy, but the trailer handled it all with ease, as long as we kept the speed below 5 mph!

Very cool. I love Utah. Glad you were able to enjoy the desert. When we went down to Moab 2 weeks ago, there was a full moon that was like a super bright spotlight, so not many stars to be seen... then it was windy and cloudy and rainy.

I enjoy camping in the mountains with pine trees, near a stream or lake... but I also like the isolation of the desert. You can find some really pretty sites. It's not for everyone, my dad pretty much hates it, but I go to get away from people.

I too was amazed at how well my 139FK did off road. Like you said, go slow and you'll be fine.

BLM camping is THE way to go! (However, I do like reserveable spots with a guaranteed vault toilet.)

Wow! You guys are amazing! Just popped in for a minute, I am rarely online - glad I got to see this!

You've got a typo in your Part 1 - an extra "http://" you might want to fix that :D

Liz, thanks for the kind words (and the link repair!). We've decided that since we are fully vaccinated, we can take some risks in traveling. We still mask up, and use hand sanitizer a lot, and avoid crowds.

Hang in there!!
