In my '12 xt-276, in the bath tub & shower head, the hot water flow is quite a bit less than the cold water flow. This condition is not evident in the bath sink faucets nor the kitchen sink faucets.

I have removed the access door under the tub and the lines (those I can see) do not appear kinked or pinched. I wonder if the restriction could be where the hot water line connects to the tub faucet? IF so, how would one access the area behind the tub faucet?

Anyone else experienced this condition ~ and remedy?

Have you tried removing the hot water valve under the handle of fixture to see if there is debris which is restricting flow? Of course, I know nothing about your model of faucet set...can the valves even be removed?
I work on rental apartment units regularly and often see this same problem where a flake of rust (steel) or a piece of solder (copper) or even a plastic shaving (pex) is jammed between the gasket and seat. If the stoppage is behind the seat or valve then you may be back to your original question...how to access the back of the faucet set?

Thanks for the hint jb. I hadn't considered that aspect so will check it out.

My unit is currently in winter storage and not accessible for a month or so but seeking solutions so can address the situation this spring before going on a trip again.

Thank for this tip.

Any others care to chime in?
