Underbelly Enclosure

Our 2013 FF UDS has a rigid protective sheet of coroplast on the underbelly. I don't think it was designed to be enclosed, simply a guard from the elements and stones.
The literature for FF said it has the Darco wrap. (A black Fabric)
With the coroplast enclosure it is only attached with bolts spaced far apart. My question is, should I make small drain holes for the water to get out? After driving in rain it will surely have "puddles" on top of the sheet of coloplast. It's a bit droopy in the center.

You should probably talk to the factory during the upcoming week -- they are pretty good about answering these kinds of questions. I would be concerned about letting water IN, especially if there is a layer of fiberglass insulation on top of the coroplast, just waiting to soak up the water.

In my 2012 FF, I have a layer of thick black vinyl which holds up the layer of pink fiberglass. I would not want that insulation to get wet. (And by the way, my old 2003 FF had no underbelly insulation -- just a layer of chipboard. The floor of my new FF is far warmer in cold conditions and far cooler in the heat.)

We called Cruise RV and they said there was nothing that couldn't get exposed to the elements in between the coroplast and the bottom of the trailer floor.* Basically there is the coroplast, then the tanks and lines etc, then the black Darco wrap and the underfloor above that. He said it didn't matter if we put small holes in the coroplast, it wouldn't void the warranty. He felt it wasn't necessary unless it was really sagging and then bring it in for service so they could mount it better. It's not sagging badly. *But just for "grins and giggles" we want to see for ourselves what is really above the Darco wrap before we take the trailer out on it's first trip.
