Hi all - so we’re on our first trip of the year today, drove 2hrs, found the site and reversed the Fun Finder in (a 2016 233RBS). After some back and forth I decided I wanted it 2’ forward but when I tried to love it forward it went a couple inches and then the trailer wheels locked up. Same thing in reverse. The tow vehicle is a 2015 F-150 3.5 ecoboost with built-in brake controller.

I checked the trailer’s plastic emergency brake pin was firmly in, which it was, and that the house batteries were on. I think it might be the truck’s brake controller but I really have no idea.

Typically, this campground has zero cell reception so looking things up and posting here is a 40 min round trip. We have 3 nights here so I have a little time to figure this one out, but wife may be less happy if I spend the next 3 days playing with the FF.

Any ideas greatly appreciated!

Cheers
Simon

Looked at the video on your Twitter. The way the wheel shifts in the wheel well make me think something Maybe is loose in the suspension.

When you figure it out, Please post What you find

Try moving the trailer with the 7 pin plug UNPLUGGED from the tow vehicle. If it moves fine, it is not the tow vehicle and something else.

The problem with most items can be determined thru the process of eliminiation.
;_)

Thanks for the replies. It turns out it was the electronica brake controller module in the truck. $1000 later at the Ford garage and it should work again :-/
