Viewfinder Grey/Black water dump

We sometimes stay more than a week or two in any given campsite and our Viewfinder 24SD has two separate dump valves, inconveniently located under the slide out. In the past, we would leave the drain hose hooked up and leave the grey tank valves open when in a prolonged stay. We would then dump and flush the black tank as needed. Awkward to do with the two dump valve system.
I can't seem to find a good "Y" to use on the sewer hose, so plan "B" is to re-route the kitchen grey water line to intersect with the grey water line from the bathroom/shower. The I will have only one dump valve to work with.
Has anyone done this yet or do I plow a new furrow? I don 't have a problem with the actual doing of the change, but if someone else has already done it, there should be some "helpful hints"

Thanks
Dave

Not recomended to ever leave the gray water valve open. I am told a slime will build up in the tank, for not having the added chemicals react with the gray water.
Also, as you alluded to, you need the gray water to flush the black water when you dump.

Grey/Black

Not really an issue. The unit has a fresh water flush for the black tank and all the grey water does as far as flushing is perhaps clean out the drain hose a bit.
Slime a concern??? When you do the dishes, make sure you have a full sink of rinse water and when you pull the plug that really does a great cleaning job in the tank. If that's not enough, throw some bleach in with few gallons of water when you're driving to the next camping area. It will slush it around and clean up any minor stuff just fine.
