Hello,
I just recently was introduced to the Fun Finder RV's. I missed out on one for sale 30 minutes from where I live and am now looking for a 14 foot (the one I missed out on was a 14 foot M139. That is the perfect size for me and the Fun Finder looks like a great little trailer.

I decided to join the group and hope to find a trailer soon. I am looking for a used 2004-2008. Looking forward to talking with you all soon. I always appreciate advice! Thanks in advance!

Kim --

I hope you find one! We started out with a used 2003 T-139 and later bought a new X-139. We think it is the perfect size -- great for boondocking in dense forests, great for camping in crowded campgrounds. Easy to tow, easy to store. And you can heat the entire interior with a small candle! (Not really.)

While you are shopping, here is some stuff you may find interesting. This blog is about the amazing places we have visited in our little trailer:

Look, Mom, We're Camping!

And this blog is mostly about our modifications:

The LMIC (Look Mom I'm Camping)

Good luck! Where are you located? And what kind of a tow vehicle do you have?

Dan

We really like ours! Have had it 5 years this August.
The hunt is worth it. Although they are getting harder to locate.
We'll keep our eyes open.

Hey! Sorry I just got your message! I am from Colorado. I currently have a 6 cylinder Subaru but will look for a used truck of some kind.

Your pics of your travels were awesome! What fun!!

Thanks for sharing,
Kim

Thanks for keeping your eyes open. I am in Colorado. Keeping fingers crossed to find a good affordable one.

Happy camping!
Kim

Beautiful pics of your travels! I am in Colorado. I currently have a 6 cylinder Subaru but will purchase an older truck to pull it when I find one. Seems dealers really mark up the price!

Thanks,
Kim

re:Don't know how to get the private message

HI Kim - I'll try an open post, instead of private message. We have a very OLD version of a FF139. It is a '98 Shadow Cruiser Silhouette, a predecessor to the the FF139; similar floor plan, perhaps better; dry weight 1500#. Got it used 8 yrs ago. We have refurbished and installed upgrades. We have had great fun and numerous wonderful adventures; up and down the East Coast, Gulf Coast, Eastern Canada, Yellowstone/Tetons and SouthWest States. We tow it with our Subaru Outback, initially a 6 cyl and now a 4 cyl. My wife initially thought it would be too small for a cross country adventure, but took 8 weeks in it, doing the Southwest States, from the East Coast. We converted the dining table into a permanent bed with a good futon mattress. The original 20 yr old foam cushions still had good upholstery, but the foam was shot. We miss an inside table, but prefer having a really good bed.
We have been discussing whether, at this stage of our lives, we might want to sell it, but haven't come to a decision, yet. Currently stored under a pole barn roof at our daughter's in the Finger Lakes of NYS; we are in the Adks.....long way from Colorado.
