I purchased my FunFinder last spring and have used it several times this year, but have never been able to use the hot water heater. When I redirect the water through the water heater the pump runs for a second, then shuts off, then runs for a second, and shuts off, over and over. It takes forever to fill, and once full, the water does not run fluidly through the hot water lines. Is this typical, or is there some kind of problem?

Sounds like you have a problem of some kind. Beats me what it is. If it was me, i would call up the service dept at the dealership you bought it and talk it over with a tech. It might need some servicing.

Are you using city water? I am not sure what you mean by having the water pump fill the hot water tank. I would first use city water to debug th problem. Make sure you close the bypass valve and open the intake and outlet valves for the water heater before you use the heater. The bypass valve is only to be used for winterization. All these valves are under the bed, next to the water heater.
