Weird smell

Hello! Our x139 as a strange smell, not a mold smell but like a sugarish smell. We think it might be coming out off the drain or one of the tank. Does anyone have any tip on how to get thing back to a no smell little camper?

We are going for a deep cleaning tomorow and we will see if this will help...

Fred, did you buy this from a private party? If so, they may have used antifreeze to winterize the system and never purged the lines and tanks. Ethylene glycol smells a lot like syrup or sugar.

This is it! Just flush everything and add a sanitizer in the toilet drain and it is all perfect now! Thanks

While you are at it, check your roof vent pipes. There should be at least two. My toilet vent was but short and mounted Below the roof line and then the final cap was cemented in place over it. It made a horrible smell. I had to tear into the wall and path a short piece of pipe onto the original so that it extened above the roof. The I installed an extractor tornado vent. No more smell.

I doubt this is your problem...but worth a look.
