Since cold weather is coming in a few months, I curious to know what cover are you using to protect your TT ? I have a FF 189FBR and I'm not sure what brand to get or if I should get just a 16 foot cover or go with a larger size.

Do you mean a giant sack or tarp to pull over your rig? or do you mean a trailer size carport of some kind? I would vote for the carport if you can get one. The metal kind with the round top are not too expensive and can be installed in one day. Park under it. Work under it. Etc.

We had a bad experience with a car cover once...the sack type. My nephew left his car here for a year while he was overseas and covered it with a snug fitting car cover. When he got back we removed the cover and discovered that the whole car was taken over with mold and green moss inside and out. It was aweful. We had to clean the car up and sell it cheap. Of course we live in the NW where it rains a lot and every evening is cool.... perfect climate for moss and mold.

I rent INSIDE storage at the county fairgrounds.

The cost is less or near equal to what the storage yards charge for OUTSIDE storage.

Of course, once in storage, there is no access until spring but that is of no concern.

:)

Inside is best. Carport would be next best. Breathable cover for RVs next. Check Amazon for different types and reviews. Tarp never per many experts. They don't breath and can cause problems, though you see them a lot.

Hi!

Does anyone store theirs under a cover (not a carport) -- and, if so, do you have recommendations? We have ours in our driveway.

Is there a cover made specifically for FF? Is there a brand anyone can recommend? Any tips from previous experience?

Thanks!!
