What is this bolt and how do I adjust the slideout?

I discovered this loose bolt (I can turn it with my hand) while checking the tire pressure. It has something to do with the slideout and is located between the front and rear axles above the frame at the end of the rack gear for the slideout. There appears to be a locknut on the bolt. How do I properly set the adjustment? Thanks!

I am glad I found it before the bolt dropped out!
Thanks!

Jimbo. When you move the slide out ..out..can you see a bolt mark?? I don't have a blot on mine..

With no known purpose, perhaps used during construction and the worker neglected to remove it....so a question maker??

Bro Dean, the bolt bracket moves with the slideout so it is also in the same position relative to the side.

Eagle, perhaps you have struck on the purpose that it was an alignment during manufacture. I don't see a purpose for it at this point but more than once I have missed some subtle point.
