Wheel bearing grease

The best advice is to contact the manufacture of the axle and use there recommendations. (should be a label on the axle)
It’s always a good practice to thoroughly clean bearings in a safety solvent before repacking them.

Marine blue, no need to take out bearings if you have the factory buddy bearing setup.
Dont use harbor frieght marine grease ,it says dont mix with other types of grease(special stuff) all others should be fine check label.
Pep boys MG is good.

I use Slick 50 GP grease that is approved for axle bearings on the tube. Also checked with the company that makes it and they assured me it exceeded the axle makers requirements.

Our trailer has Lippert Axils with the SuperLube Hubs. The Cruiser Owner's Manual that came with the trailer says to use grade 2, high temperature automotive grease with a minimum of 440 degrees dropping point. I think high temperature grease is usually if not always red in color.

and IIRC, the dropping point was 550

as for color, there is red, white, grey, green, blue/green, black, dark brown, etc. I doubt the coloring dye aids lubrication or raises the dropping point.

ALSO - Slick 50 grease is what I use with satisfaction. Everyone else if free to use whatever brand they wish.
