I have a one-year-old 2009 - X210 and it is time to service the wheel bearings for the first time . Can someone tell me if I have grease plugs on the axles or do I need to pack the bearings on this unit? Any advise is welcome. Removing the wheels and dust cover for the plugs I can handle. If the bearings need packed I will need to take it in for service. Thanks. :)

I believe that our trailers have Dexter EZ-lube axles which will have the zerk fittings to lube the bearings. Although I don't remember where I came by that info. I bought mine last fall so I haven't quite reached the point where this is due. The only way to tell for sure is to pull the wheel. If it is the easy lube it's supposed to have a rubber plug that covers the zerk. You can get more details at www.dexteraxle.com.

Thanks for the information. I plan on pulling the wheels off this weekend.

Axels and wheels

I believe lubricating the axels (torsion) and the wheel bearings are two separate operations.....The axels should have grease fittings like cars used to have.... There a external wheel bearing attachments called "bearing buddies" that allow the wheel bearings to be greased without removeing the wheels....
