Thought I would start a thread on Weekend Trips. I know most of our trips are short, meaning 150 to 300 miles, just to get out of the city.
Where do you head on weekends?
This weekend we are taking our inaugural trip in our X230DS. We are leaving Phoenix, 1200' elev, Friday afternoon and heading up to Mormon Lake, AZ, 7000' elev, (about 200 miles) for a couple days. The best part being the lake is at full capacity for the first time in more than 10 yrs! Can not wait to sit by the campfire, overlooking the lake. We are taking our two Sheppards with us and will keep the trip pretty basic, just to get a feel of our new trailer.
