Today the FunFinder went into indoor winter storage until next spring and won't see it again until then.

Prep was done as usual, removal of any perishables, paper products, batteries from remotes, winterize water system, turn off propane tanks, etc. etc. etc.

And, of course, the addition of 4 packs of Fresh Cab to prevent any rodents that may decide they want to use the camper over the winter months. LOL

Local farm/home store had Fresh Cab on sale $9.99 for a 4 pack and a $3 rebate. GOOD DEAL!

Also available on Amazon, Ebay, Target, Ace hardware, etc. or find a local dealer here:

Great stuff that REALLY WORKS!! Used it for years and NEVER had a mouse problem.
:)

I know, it's so sad, isn't it? I just found a new place to store my baby for the winter.

Sorry to hear your camping has come to an end this year. Our weather finally got nice enough to enjoy camping again.

Same here. Just got back from a trip to the Verde Valley and starting to plan the next trip.

When one lives in the upper great plains states, the colder weather moves in about the same time every year, although we usually have an "Indian Summer" when it warms for a few weeks before the serious colder weather moves in.

My indoor storage is rented space at the local county fairgrounds and once it's put inside, there is zero access until they move it outside in the spring. Not inconvenient if one makes sure nothing 'needed' is left in the camper. And the price is right as outdoor storage in a 'storage yard' is about the same price.

We drove by a local storage yard and saw it was filling with trailers. I guess a lot of people around here have to stop camping when school starts and kids get busy with activities. It isn't the weather here yet, except for the rain we got this weekend that may have flooded area lakes. That could close them down for a few months.
