I hadn't really noticed before using full hookups (elect/water/sewer) but have noticed the monitor panel buttons include:

1. Battery ... to check the amount of charge in the battery.
2. Fresh .......to check the amount of water in the fresh water tank
3. Black .......to check the amount of 'stuff' in the black water tank
4.. Aux ........ ????? hadn't noticed this so WHAT IS IT FOR????
5. Gray ........to check the amount of fluid in the grey water tank

On the XT276 - have no idea what the 'Aux' is for so some help for this recent newby will be appreciated.
:?:

On some trailers, there is a separate "Galley" tank for the gray water from the kitchen... How many drain handles to your waste tanks do you have? If you have a separate galley tank, you'll have three; one black and one for each of the gray tanks...

I've also seen, on high end rigs though, where aux was an electrical LP level indicator. Usually only see those on the big rigs with the built in 40 lb and larger LP tank(s).

If that isn't the case, maybe they just ran out of the smaller 4 button panels... Does it actually "light up" when you press the button?

I have wondered to. Yes it lights up when the button is pushed. Mine shows empty what ever it is.

Like roy said ... yes it lights up when you push the button and it reads empty.

I thought I was really dumb to post the question but apparently it's purpose is a question maker.

Has it ever read anything other than "empty"? If it always reads "empty", it is probably for an option that CruiserRV may or may not even offer, but, it isn't installed...

Mine has always read empty no mention of it in any if the manuals I have.

My 276 has every option offered except the convection microwave oven.

Most likely it is for an option that they never offered, but, they got a "good deal" on the boards and panels from the manufacturer :)

It may be something that they planned on offering, but, it proved too costly in manufacture or it may be for another model that does have twin gray tanks (gray; shower and bathroom sink, galley; kitchen sink). Only CruiserRV would know what they intended it for...my '08 210WBS had only those meters that were used, no extras, but, I do know that the manufacturers order those boards and they are available in multiple configurations.

Maybe, somebody has an "Aux" meter that is actually attached to something? Would be interesting to know if CruiserRV actually has a model that needs that extra input...

Aux Tank

Well, we recently bought a 264 RLS, and have only had it out for a night or two. I do have the same "Aux" tank indicator and actually have a tank connected to it. The drain valve for it is located separate from the black and grey tanks and it has its own sewer hose connection as well. Problem is I can't figure out what drains into it. It seems like when we aren't even running water that it's getting full.

By the way this is our first trailer...
