First Trip
Just made a 350 mile "test run". Trailer pulled great, truck got about 12 mpg at 65 mph (2012 Chevy Silverado 5.3L). The only hiccup (actually it was more like a big poop pile) was that I somehow lost the trailer keys. Windows locked shut, door locked. I'm screwed, so I break out a drill, drill out the locks and get the door open. Going to visit an RV supply place tomorrow and pick up a new handle. Going to make extra keys and hide one one the trailer, one on my truck ring and one on the trailer ring. Live and learn.

Oh no! Good mileage. The older we get the more things we lose (and find later). I hate it. We lose something every day it seems. Or forget something! But glad your trip went well other than the key problem.

I actually don't feel too bad about replacing the handle. The key I had worked ok, the one at home, not so well. At least I got in and didn't have to sleep in the truck. Big thing is that the trailer towed great.

Good thing the drill wasn't with the keys! That'd be my luck. Glad you got it sorted out.

LJAZ - Thanks. Tools and clothes always ride in truck. God forbid something happens to the trailer, if I have clothes and tools, I can still work.
