Talking Spring Out

We're taking our first trip this year. Heading out on a short run up into North Carolina on Sunday. Stay a few days and dust out all the cobwebs.
Maybe visit Chimney Rock and check out a couple of campsites around that area. Planning on getting out more this year for sure.....
Who else has plans this season?

If your headed up the west side. Davidson river campground is a nice place to stop at. Close to looking glass falls. Fish hatchery and the cradle of forestry. If you walk back the path they have a steam powered sawmill and a narrow Guage train on display. Also go to Hendersonville. Bunions roadhouse has great food they also have popcorn still on display.

To answer your question DW and I are headed to pymatuming. Jamestown campground. DW loves to feed the fish and watch the ducks walk on the fishes backs. It will be our 53rd anniversary.

53 Years! Congrats to you both. We're working on our 55th this year.
Spent our time in the NC area visiting with our grandkids as they were out of school.
At Chimney Rock on Monday, it was a pretty day, a little windy and cool up on the rock but the clear sky views were great. They were working on Main Street in town so parking was hard to find. Played some mini golf, gem mining and did touristy stuff. Great food everywhere in Chimney Rock.
We were in Hendersonville on Tuesday and it was raining all day. Ate at Mikes on Main and toured the shops. Too rainy for much. Just got home.
First trip this year for the little 139 and it did great. No surprises.

Well I hope you found another gem. I see you, like me found your first gem 55 years ago.
