Default Couch to Dinette Mod

Have a 2011 FF 210WBS with a couch within the slideout. Thinking about modification to replace couch with a dinette. Anyone have any luck with this type of mod? Any tips/ideas would be much appreciated.

I have not done that mod, but I think you can do it. Is there a wire bundle under the couch frame?

LOL the opposite of what I did, but then you have a slide out. If you don't need the storage room, a table and chairs are nice I did that in a medium motorhome and really liked it.

Keep us posted on your progress!

We too want to replace the couch with something else in our 2009 210WBS. The dinette is ideal but we also have three young kids that need sleeping arrangements too... & they don't always get along. Thus we want to incorporate some sort of bunk bed(s).

Currently we are considering something like this link (Deep Red - A self-build motorhome - beds & seats) except with further modifications to allow us to have a dinette with three to four beds.

Won't be starting the DIY mod for another month-ish but will update this as it goes along.

This site was extremely helpful for us in previous years whilst we dealt with the continually ongoing repairs that our da*n FF always seems to need.., thus have finally decided to join with hopes of helping others too now!

Glad you joined. Thanks for the link to Deep Red, they did a great job, tons of ideas. I'm so tempted to make our couch convertible, but we don't really want more than us in the tiny camper LOL. Plus it has couch springs so it's really comfortable, we would lose that if we added extendable slats. Tempting though, just for the coolness factor LOL

Recalled something from another thread: http://www.funfinderclub.com/forums/...10wbs-502.html

Will need to think to think outside the box...
