Hello from West Michigan...where it sounds like we'll be getting more snow this weekend. (I got anxious like I was writing a singles ad and thought a go-to would be to say something about the weather. Sorry.)
Frida is my first RV. I upgraded at the start of winter from a converted enclosed trailer and I'm in love. (With having a bathroom and running water.)
I also have a bird who loves to make a nest in the vent over the stove, so if you know of a pre-built screen that would be great, otherwise I'll probably make one this weekend depending on weather.
I do a lot of camping at motorcycle events, so if you are ever in Michigan at a rally and you see Frida and a woman who looks like she's confused as she looks at gadgets, hoses and a new generator, stop by and say hello!

It sounds like your fridge vent cover fell off -- ours did too. It was a flap that flapped in the breeze -- it kept out the birds and the bugs till it flapped away on a breezy highway.

I installed regular window screening over the opening. The hard part was fitting it around the opening.
