Default Electric hot water tank element

Guess its gone out and in need of replacing. It quit on a cold trip last nov when the north wind was blowing steady for 24 hours. I guess the thing just burned out trying to keep the water hot that day.

Anyway what's the procedure on replacing it? I have read up on it a little. Looks like the LP gas tube is in the way. Will need to remove that. The little black cover comes off and there are two wires with what looks like the drain bolt head. Just unscrew it? Pull the element out slide new one in. I've already pushed both reset buttons nothing happened so that wasn't it. I plan to check the element first with a meter before actually removing. Also plan to check the thermostat to. That cover has a stripped screw (thanks cruiser). Btw the LP heat still works on the tank.

Where is a good place to buy a new element online?

Thanks
