Default Funfinder 189x 2008 leaks found

Hi just took a leap of faith and bought a used 2008 funfinder 189x trailer. I found a leak last night by the front right side cargo door which seemed to show a soft spot in the wall behind the small outside bbq strip.

I took the strip off and added caulking. Since then that leak has stopped I think. Here is what I found this morning before the repair.

The window above it had leaked from evidence of water runs but the outside caulking must of stopped it since it looked fresh.

However if I manage to stop that issue the previous owners left me with a mess in the front window. I’ve seen many threads on it.

They claim it leaked once onto their bed so they sealed the entire outside of the window (poorly) so now condensation seems to be leaking into the window between the flap and just pooling there. Luckily that’s far as it’s going for now.

Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

They are notorious for leaks. You need to stay vigilant. Upper clearance lights belly molding. Anywhere where there's a joint you need to watch. As soon as you see anything different on the inside paneling you need to act. The fact that the paneling is soft is an issue. You really should be opening it up and check behind. I had the whole front end cave in on the highway after I missed the fact that it was leaking. Ended up replacing the entire front end of the trailer.

Thanks for the tips. I opened the wall let it dry out. Fixed all the leaks and it’s been good ever since. Hope that’s the end for now but I will keep a eye out

Curious how much it costed you to replace the entire front panel?
