Default Bicycle

How is everyone traveling with their bicycles? I am pulling with a suv so no truck to throw them in. I was thinking about a hitch and bicycle rack on the back of my fun finder 214. But will 4 bikes on the back throw off the weight distribution?? Thanks!

Putting 4 bikes on the back of the trailer will certainly take some of the weight of the trailer tongue. How much is the question. You may have to compensate by moving some things toward the front of the trailer.

Also make sure your hitch is securely attached/welded to the trailer frame and not the bumper. The bumper won't support the weight of the bikes.

There are also options available to mount the bikes forward of the trailer. Such as:

Your concern is vallid. We did a partial compensation by also upgrading the batteries in front to two 6v Trojen golf cart batteries. The added weight up front helps balance the weight in the back. About perfect for 2 adult bikes. When we haul 4, we add a few extra gallons of water in the fresh water tanks which is up front on our trailer.
