Default burned smell when fridge on gas (X-160)

We bought a new X-160 and tried to put the fridge on Gas for couple hours, we had to stop it because of the terrible smell (not ammonia, just smell like burned plastic). Is that normal for the first time use? Will the smell dispate eventually? Thanks for any comments.

Default faulty gas regulator

it turned out to be a faulty gas regulator which cause unburned gas, the bad smell is unburned gas.... all fixed up and fridge is working now, no smell.
