Default where are all the Fun Finders

We just got back from a long(for us) road trip. We went to the Blue Ridge Parkway camped all along the way ended at Richmond to see our new grandbaby and never saw a single other FF. 6 different campgrounds lots of road time lot of other brands of TT but no kin. Had a lot of visitors stop by to look inside and may have cause a sale. The FF looks sharp up in the mountians. This thing pulled so easy that a kinda forgot that it was there sometimes( that caused a little to much heat on the brakes so I had to rest for a bit until it started to rain). When on the Parkway most camping is with no water or electric. We thought we were ready for that. I bought a 45 watt solar pannel to charge the battery, had plenty of water was careful on using the potty....but...... 4 days of rain in a row doesn't help charge the battery with solar power. I have since looked at some on this site and (as i found out) some of the stuff in the FF chews up power even if you don't use them. I was afraid to plug in the van and use it to much because I didn't want to be stuck with 2 dead batteries.
This was our first attempt and with more research and help from some on this forum next time will be better.
Happy Trails and it's almost time for school to start again

We just returned from a round trip from Minnesota to Yellowstone. We saw at least 5 FunFinders and made friends with the owners of one of them. It was a great trip!

I see lots of fun finders on the road here in Alberta.
I am also seeing more and more Shadow cruisers up here too.

Default skyline drive

There are many nice campgrounds a short distance off the drive that have water electric & sewer. You might google a few of these to fall back on when it rains for your next trip. I also love the campgrounds on the drive like big meadows but wish they had water and electric .

I like staying in state parks sometimes but sadly, there may be electric available but no water/sewer hookups. But, always load water on the way to the site and dump the sewage on the way out. I can say some of the water at state parks may be safe to drink but sure do not taste very good. Our tax dollars only go so far, right Jeff Neeley?

Wrong direction we are headed WEST. Route 66 into NM, CO, UT and AZ.

I've wore out the East coast and need new scenery.

I saw a half-dozen or so this summer in my lap around the country.

Here's what this year's route looked like.

Been having a grand time at the Sturgis South Dakota Motorcycle Rally. Been touring thru the black hills and checked out several other campgrounds but have yet to see another Fun Finder in the area.
Haven't seen any on the interstate getting here either.

My husband and I always ask the same question. We searched high and low before we decided on a tt and fell in love with the fun finder the moment we saw it. Only one dealer in our area so I think that may be why we don't see very many here.

Default We saw lots of Fun Finders

We drove a trip in July 2012 from California to Muskegon, Michigan to pick up a new X 189 FBS and drove it back home, mostly on I -70 and I-80. We saw dozens of FF since their bright white exteriors with bold markings are so easy to recognize. Also saw a few in campgrounds.

Which dealer did you pick it up from?

Sorry for the late reply, Metaltff. We bought it at All Seasons RV in Muskegon, MI. Very happy with their staff.

Wow, you traveled a long distance to get your FF. Any special reason for not buying closer to your residence?

There were no dealers close to me so traveled about 300 miles to purchase mine last spring. That dealer was about 75 further than the closest one but selling for less and far more friendly IMHO.

I did contact the local TT dealer and left an inquiry if they could get a FF for me. Never so much as got a call back.
