Default 2019 National Monuments Tiur

This year we decided to take our FF 210UDS on the road for a tour of National Monuments. We started out from Eastern North Carolina and worked our way across the South stopping at the Freedom Riders NM in Anniston, Alabama and then on to Selma for the Voting Rights NM. We have been to Poverty Point in LA and then after a quick stop at Carlsbad Caverns we went on to Alamogordo New Mexico for White Sands NM and also toured the White Sands Missile Range. Continuing west we went to Organ Mountains NM near Las Cruces and then on to Willcox AZ to see Fort Bowie National Historic Site and Chiricahua NM. We leave tomorrow for more, planning to travel through AZ back to New Mexico then up to the four corners, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming and then start heading back to North Carolina just before July 4th.

The National Monuments are not heavily visited, on the whole, and are beautiful and historic.

Safe travels to all.
