First Post for us. We bought our first camper (2008 Funfinder 189FDR) in Duluth MN in September and headed straight up to the North Shore of Lake Superior. Tettegouche State Park is terrific and the best spot in the world to start our first RVing experience.
http://www.funfinderclub.com/forums/...picture453.jpg . Beautiful CG and 2 nights there and then down to Banning State Park on the Kettle River near Sandstone Minnesota. Hiked back in for two miles and found these beautiful pristine falls. Then headed home to the twin cities for a night before we wanted to get right back out there. So we headed out the next day for a southern Minnesota run to Beaver Creek SP (Pretty but a narrow valley and kind of buggy) and finished up in Pipestone at Blue Mounds State Park. Blue Mounds was a unique experience with expansive open prairie and rock outcroppings. A terrific experience and we can't wait to get back out. However - and I just winterized the FF but I am wondering how close south do I go for a mid November run. Is Southern Missouri or Northern Arkansas options?
