It should be noted, the Dexter axles come with bearings that are made in China...aka not the best bearings. MOST replacements will also be made in China and are so stamped.
For really good, high quality bearings, use TIMKEN bearings...they are the best and cost only a few bucks more than the cheap China made bearings.
I use a digital infrared thermometer (
https://www.amazon.com/Digital-Infra...ateway&sr=8-23) and check the hub temps when stopping for fuel, etc. to see if the wheel bearings are running normal or hot (over 115 degrees) indicating a problem. If using the touch method, it should not feel warmer than wrapping your hand around a mug of hot coffee.
