Default 2014 301kibh

Hi, I am so glad to have found this forum. We are proud new owner of a 2014 301KIBH in Colorado and can't wait for our first trip with the TT.

Wow! Colorado -- I am so envious. (California, where I live, is nice, but it is not Colorado.) Where in Colorado do you live? Is this your first RV? Let us know if you have questions.

Wish I lived closer to good camping locations too.
It's 300 miles to the Black Hills or about the same to get into northern Minnesota so that limits places for those 'weekend ventures'.
It's no fun spending some 6 hours on the road just to get to a location....and same to return.

Eagle, where are you in S. Dakota? I've been meaning to ask, if that's not too personal...

My grandparents were in Sioux Falls at the turn of the last century and then headed to Saskatchwan via Minnesota where my father was born in 1913.

This is our first TT, and this is exciting and a bit intimidating too. We live in the suburbs of Denver and are very lucky to live so close to such amazing beauty. That was one of the major reasons we decided to finally get a TT.

Mine from Wisconsin (great grandad IIRC) & moved to SD sometime after the Civil War and settled about 30 or so miles S.W. of Aberdeen...farmers as were my grandad and dad.

Yup! Farmers all and lumbermen at times. I wish I had asked more questions.

Back to the tread. Sorry all.

Welcome to RVing and the forum. We live in Texas but visit our son and daughter-in-law in Denver (Centennial) every summer. If you are looking for a close place our favorites are Chatfield State Park and Golden Clear Creek RV park in Golden. Have fun.

Hi Livgriffith, welcome to the Forum and to the world of trailers... With Co as your base, you can just pick spokes (like a wheel) and find great places to within and outside CO...

Happy Travels...
