Default battery hook up

I disconnected my battery last fall and can not remember how to reconnect the cables

Black is positive on my Fun Finder, and I have done some research, and almost everyone agrees. As always, a few folks say it is the other way around, but I don't think so.

Here is what I did to remind myself -- I color coded the wires and the battery terminals. Wrap a little bit of red tape around the black wire, and put some red marking on the positive terminal. Auto supply stores sell little colored felt washers that drop over the terminal, to help avoid confusion.

Your house batteries are color coded similar to a building instead of a car, black-positive/white-negative. Another good way to tell is the positive cable on your trailer should have an inline fuse and the negative won't.
