Key-copying

I need a copy of the door key for my 2006 FF X139. I got copies of the other keys made no problem, but for the front door key I have had NO luck.

I've tried an RV dealer, Camping World, and Ace Hardware. They all say they have no blank key that size, since it's kind of small and has a plastic top on it.

What KIND of places make copies of trailer DOOR keys? This is a nationwide forum, so I don't expect anyone to know the places in Sacramento, but in general, what KIND of places copy RV door keys?

I had the same problem. I finally went to an independent locksmith. He had the right key.

I got the key!!!

I found out the dealer has keys. He doesn't cut them. The key has a number on it. It's a FIC key. He had some with my number. He doesn't make a new key. FF only has about 125 unique keys.

I gave him the number, and he pulled up a pre-cut key.

I wish I knew this earlier!!!
